Jim in his recording studio in LA with Bek
Phillips, September '09: A rare glimpse of Jim at work in
his own studio with Beck Phillips - a young singer/songwriter from
Connecticut. It's absolutely fascinating. Thanks for the video Bek!
Check out Bek's
Myspace and read more about her on ZW Records.
Jim in his recording studio in LA with
Shelley James, September '09: Another video clip of Jim at work
in his studio. This time with Shelley James,
who is, interestingly enough, singing Jim's song "Maybe". Watch for a
cool Paul Mirkovich mention around 2:45. And... enjoy!
"Believe", w/ Cher, Collosseum
Las Vegas - Feb 25,
2009: A
short video of parts where you can sorta see Jim (that's him on the
keyboard, trust
us!) He seems to be totally grooving into the whole thing.
Thanks www.cherstyle.com.
and
Fox Business Channel - Jan 2008: A
two part video about how the Internet changed the music industry
with Jim on the panel. Jim's part starts about 2:30 minutes of the
first clip and is throughout the second. He has very interesting things
to say.
W/ Marc
Broussard on The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno - Oct 2008 : Jim
is playing keyboard singing backing vocals on "Keep Coming
back"
and having a lot of fun. As per usual. That guy loves to perform.
Jim w/ Marc Broussard
@Roxy - Oct 2006:
Check
out Jim's rocking solo on keys. You can find the whole song
clip on YouTube here.
And this is what Jim wrote about it in his Premier Guitar
article, Living
the Dream
Portable
Vinyl Interview in The Mint - Sep 2006
Portable Vinyl Interview in The Mint
- Sep
2006 (unedited)
The Ellen
DeGeneres Show - Oct 2006: "Roxanne"
w/Dilana. What more can we say? Enjoy.
Matt Nathanson vs. Jimmy. A
combo video
of the two mates performing Jessie's
Girl (Matt in TLA, Philly, Oct '08; our Jimmy in LA, Aug 06).
Who do you think is better?
Silly question. Matt is not bad though. Rick Springfield is not in
contest.
Universal City Walk performance - Aug 2006: Jim
singing one of his (and our) favourite songs. You can find the mp3 of
the song here. For your iPods.
Cher's Farewell Tour - 2004/2005:
A collage video clip of parts with Jim from 3 songs performed
in Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY (Dec '04) and Rod Laver
Arena, Melbourne, Aus (Mar '05).
We've "marked" Jim. (Well the dates coincide so it has
to be him!) Also have a look at this Portland, OR clip
(Nov '04). The keyboard player behind Cher has to be
Jim. (BTW, we searched high and low for a Cher and Jim "After
All" duet. There ain't no such on the www. Believe us)
Farewell Tour w/
Cher, the final show, Hollywood Bowl - Apr 29 2005: As we
all know, Jim joined the tour in Oct 2004 as a
keyboard player (replaced Paul Mirkovich) and
sang "After All' w/ Cher. But do you know that, when Paul returned a
few months later, Jim stayed in the backup band and played
guitar? So check
out this precious (albeit choppy) video clip. Cher is
singing "Heart Of Stone".
Jim w/ Marc
Broussard on Tonight Show with Jay Leno - Sep 2004: Rare
and
cool clip of Jim performing "Where You Are" - check
out Jimmy Keys!
Jim w/ Poison Live in 2003:
"Something To Believe In" just the Jim
parts where you can see him play the keys. The whole song is here - you can
hear Jim on backing vocals. Very good song. Poison are a lot better
(musically) than they look.
Jim w/ Tal Bachman, "If You
Sleep" - 2000: Jim
playing keyboard on the official video for the song. You can see him in
the second part of the clip. Thanks Jim! (Yes, Jim as Jim McGorman )
Top of the POPS TV
show, UK, w/ New Radicals - 1999: "You
Get What You Give", of course. Jim is playing keyboard, singing
and
bopping his ass off on the right. There are many closeups of Jim's
hands on the keyboard.
Channel 4 UK, TFI
Friday Show w/ New Radicals - 1999: A
nice little combo clip of Jim performing... well of course: "You Get
What You Give". It's Jim parts only, but... pretty cool if
you ask us.
Nickelodeon, All That
Show w/ New Radicals - 1998: "Get What You
Give" - almost the entire song (all the the important parts are there).
Nevermind the fact that it's filmed
from the TV screen, it's clear and the sound is good. Jim enjoys
himself to the max, and you can see another two mates of his (Brad
Fernquist - guitar and Sasha Krivtsov - bass)
Tonight
Show w/ Jay Leno,
w/ New Radicals - 1998: A precious video of
Jim playing k/b, singing backing
vocals to Gregg Alexander and totally rocking out during "Get
What You Give" on Leno. Jim shakes hands w/ Leno so make sure you watch
to the end.
Jim w/ New Radicals - 1998: A little
Jim part of "Can't Get Enough"
with New Radicals. For the whole clip click here!
